Chess Coach

Chess Coach lets you play chess and teaches you how to improve your skills.

You will get optional visual hints like which pieces are threatened. You can undo and redo past moves and draw your next strategy on the board.

The main feature of Chess Coach is the feedback machine. You'll get feedback in form of text after each turn you make. This also includes which move the AI (on highest difficulty) would have made. This way you can develop a better feeling and understanding for chess.

This is a project we made for our university HAW Landshut in germany. It's based on an idea of Sven Lembke and was created by Paul Eidenmüller, Philipp Rosenthal and Martin Schmid.

We used the Chess Engine "Stockfish" for the AI. All audio files used for this application are copyrighted and licensed. We own the licenses for theses files.
